Missions

In obedience to Jesus Christ’s great commission to the Church, we support church planters and missionaries in North America and around the world in places like Thailand and India, who are called by God to reach the lost with the good news of the Gospel and establish new communities of disciples.
Below are some of the mission causes CURC supports:

United States

El Pacto De Gracia (Covenant of Grace) is the outreach ministry of Faith United Reformed Church reaching Spanish speaking people in the greater Chicago Heights area.

Mid-America Reformed Seminary (MARS). MARS prepares pastors as faithful servants of the Word and sacrament in the heritage of Reformed and Presbyterian Churches.

Messiah’s Reformed Fellowship is a URCNA church plant in New York City led by Rev. Paul Murphy. It is the only Reformed ministry in Manhattan.

Divine Hope Reformed Bible Seminary is a confessionally Reformed seminary providing theological training to inmates at Danville Correctional Center in Danville, Illinois.

Canada

New Horizon Church. Under the oversight of Cornerstone United Reformed Church of London, Ontario, Rev. Mitchell Persaud seeks to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the many Chinese, East Indian, and African peoples living in this northwest area of Toronto.

Rev. Tony Zekveld has been called by the Covenant Christian Church (URCNA) of Wyoming, Ontario, to work in Toronto. The Toronto Mission is a ministry to the Sikh immigrants from Punjab, India to Canada.

World

Vic Bernales, a graduate of Mid-America Reformed Seminary, serves Davao United Covenant Reformed Church, a small congregation of the United Covenant Reformed Churches in Davao, Philippines.

Middle East Reformed Fellowship (MERF) is headquartered in Cyprus. It serves the Middle East on behalf of Reformed Churches and believers. MERF and the Reformed Family of Churches worldwide, are engaged in encouraging and strengthening the Church throughout the Middle East. MERF is committed to proclaiming the historic Christian faith as expressed in the early ecumenical creeds and the confessions of the Reformation to non-Christians in the Middle East.

Rev. Steve Poelman has been called to service in India by the Cornerstone United Reformed Church of Hudsonville, Michigan. He has a twofold ministry in Northern India. He is a teacher at the Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Dehra Dun, India. Additionally, when the seminary is not in session, he conducts a conference and seminar ministry throughout the churches in India.

Reformed Faith and Life (Christ for Armenia) is an independent ministry led by Rev. Aaron Kayayan whose goal is to evangelize the people of Armenia (former part of the USSR).
