Missions

In obedience to Jesus Christ’s great commission to the Church, we support church planters and missionaries in North America and around the world, who are called by God to reach the lost with the good news of the Gospel and establish new communities of disciples.
Below are some of the mission causes CURC supports:

United States

El Pacto De Gracia (Covenant of Grace) is the outreach ministry of Faith United Reformed Church reaching Spanish speaking people in the greater Chicago Heights area.

Mid-America Reformed Seminary (MARS). MARS prepares pastors as faithful servants of the Word and sacrament in the heritage of Reformed and Presbyterian Churches.

Messiah’s Reformed Fellowship is a URCNA church plant in New York City led by Rev. Paul Murphy. It is the only Reformed ministry in Manhattan.

Covenant URC is a church plant in Colorado Springs, CO.

Divine Hope Reformed Bible Seminary is a confessionally Reformed seminary providing theological training to inmates at Danville Correctional Center in Danville, Illinois.

Canada

New Horizon Church. Under the oversight of Cornerstone United Reformed Church of London, Ontario, Rev. Mitchell Persaud seeks to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the many Chinese, East Indian, and African peoples living in this northwest area of Toronto.

Rev. Tony Zekveld has been called by the Covenant Christian Church (URCNA) of Wyoming, Ontario, to work in Toronto. The Toronto Mission is a ministry to the Sikh immigrants from Punjab, India to Canada.

World

Chiesa Riformata di Perugia is a church plant led by Rev. Andrea Ferrari. Rev. Ferrari had previously planted a church in Milan, Italy and after many years of serving this church he relocated to Perugia in June of 2018 to begin a church plant there. Perugia is between Florence and Rome in central Italy. Chiesa Riformata of Perugia is the only confessionally reformed church in this region.

Chiesa Riformata Filadelfia is a church in Milan, Italy currently led by Rev. Michael Brown. This church was previously planted and led by Rev. Andrea Ferrari. Rev. Brown began serving here in January of 2019 although he has been involved with this church since 2006.

Biserica Evanghelica Reformata Bucuresti is a church in Bucharest which is the capital city of Romania. The church was planted in August 2016 by Rev. Mihai Corcea after he had graduated Westminster Seminary California and relocated back to his home country. The small church meets in a rented space in downtown Bucharest.

Iglesia Reformanda Luz de Vida (Light of Life Reformed Church) is located in Quito, Ecuador. Quito is the capital of the country and has a population of around 2.5 million people. Luz de Vida met for the first time on September of 2005 under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Donoso. Since June 2014, Rev. Pablo Landazuri has been leading this church.
